Master musician, Marc Mittag, plays the guitar like a sculptor, taking lumps of musical clay and shaping them into something beautiful. He recorded his debut album, The Interview, in New York with acclaimed drummer Mike Clark (Herbie Hancock and the Head Hunters etc), and the late great Charles Fambrough (Art Blakey, McCoy Tyner etc) and Eric Udel (The Blues Brothers, Ray Charles etc) on bass.
Equally at home on acoustic and electric guitar, Marc uses the instrument as a means of connection and communication.
Marc recently co-wrote and produced The Soundtrack - The Very Last List of Vivian Walker, released in August 2022 with the incredibly creative Megan Albany (Author/Songwriter/Singer) and Australian actor, Madeleine West (Neighbours, Underbelly etc). He has released two previous albums with Megan and their song, Finding Myself from the album Reality TV, reached number 26 in the Irish charts.
Marc has performed at the Thredbo Jazz Festival, Dublin’s Fused Festival, the Heineken Music Festival and the Miller Genuine Music Festival and has received national airplay and was featured on Rove Live, The Panel and Channel 7's Morning Show as well as having enjoyed international airplay with several of his instrumental tracks.
